1 pound of chuck steak cut into cubes
4 tablespoons of vegetable oil or beef fat
salt and pepper to taste
1 crushed garlic clove
4 small onions cut into rings
seasonings to taste
English Worcestershire sauce
bay leaves
thyme
1 can of tomato puree
1 cup of beef broth Maggi
1 can of corn
1 can of broad beans Jurema

Brown the beef in hot oil
Season and add tomato puree and beef broth
Simmer over medium heat for 30 to 40 minutes
Reduce heat and add vegetables
Continue cooking for an additional 20 minutes
If desired, add 1/2 cup of wine or chopped bacon for extra flavor
Serve with rice, without accompaniment or with bread.
