3 tablespoons of butter
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon of brandy
3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
3 cups of whole milk
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 and 1/2 containers of fresh heavy cream
Ground nutmeg to taste
1/2 cup of sour cream
3 slices of brie cheese cut into cubes
3 tablespoons of butter

Ground nutmeg to taste
1/2 cup of sour cream
3 slices of brie cheese cut into cubes
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, then add the onion and cook until softened
Next, flambé with brandy
Be careful not to burn yourself!
Add the flour and cook for another minute
Pour in the milk while whisking constantly until it forms a smooth cream
Add the salt, heavy cream, and let simmer for three more minutes or until thickened
Let cool slightly
Add the ground nutmeg and blend with sour cream in a blender
Heat quickly over low heat to warm the mixture
Stir in the brie cheese just before serving.
