2 tablespoons of unflavored gelatin, dissolved in cold water
1/2 cup of cold milk
3/4 cup of heavy cream
1/3 cup of bitter chocolate, melted
1 cup of milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 cup of whipped cream
1 1/2 cups of crushed ice
To garnish: whipped cream, chopped hazelnuts or almonds, and chocolate shavings

Combine cold milk with gelatin in a blender and blend until gelatin is dissolved
In a separate saucepan, combine heavy cream, melted bitter chocolate, and milk
Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture comes to a simmer
Remove blender from stand and add warm chocolate mixture
Blend until well combined and smooth
Add egg, vanilla extract, whipped cream, and crushed ice
Blend until smooth and creamy
Pour into serving dish and refrigerate until firm
If desired, garnish with remaining whipped cream, chopped hazelnuts or almonds, and chocolate shavings.
