Melt the cupuaçu pulp in a medium saucepan with the milk, sugar, and cornstarch
Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring constantly, until thickened (about 3 minutes)

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and let it cool
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about an hour

Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl set over a pot of hot water (do not let it boil), stirring delicately
Distribute evenly among six serving dishes, forming designs, and place in the freezer to firm up slightly (about 5 minutes)
Cover with the chilled cream and serve immediately.
