4 tablespoons (of soup) of butter or margarine
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon of chopped green chives
2 tablespoons (of soup) of boiling water
2 tablespoons (of soup) of wheat flour
2 cups of milk
2 tablespoons of grated cheese
Salt and black pepper to taste

Cut the tomatoes into large pieces
Fry the onion in half of the butter or margarine until slightly softened
Add the tomatoes, parsley, chives, and boiling water
Cover and cook over low heat for 15 minutes
Then pass everything through a sieve
Put the remaining butter in a pan and bring to medium heat until melted
Add the wheat flour and cook stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes
Add the milk gradually, allowing it to come to a boil, then combine with the tomato mixture, grated cheese, salt, and black pepper to taste
Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat and serve with fried breadcrumbs in butter
