'4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature'
'1 tablespoon grated orange zest'
'4 croissants, cut in half lengthwise'
'1 cup orange juice'
'4 tablespoons sugar'
'3 tablespoons Curaçao, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier liqueur'
'4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, at room temperature'
'1 tablespoon grated orange zest'
'4 croissants, cut in half lengthwise'
'1 cup orange juice'
'4 tablespoons sugar'
'3 tablespoons Curaçao, Cointreau, or Grand Marnier liqueur'
Mix the grated orange zest with butter in a small bowl
Spread one tablespoon of this mixture on each croissant half
Bake them in a preheated moderate oven (170°C) for 10 minutes
While they're baking, cook the remaining butter with orange juice and sugar for about 5 minutes
Place the warm croissants in a nice frying pan and drizzle the hot orange glaze over them
Heat the liqueur, light it on fire, and pour it over the croissants, extinguishing the flames by moistening with the syrup
Serve immediately, warm, and enjoy 4 servings.
