4 slices of white bread
2 slices of Gruyère cheese
4 slices of prosciutto
2 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of béchamel sauce
4 tablespoons of grated Cheddar cheese
Sauce
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of butter
1 rounded teaspoon of wheat flour
2 tablespoons of grated Cheddar cheese
Salt and nutmeg to taste
4 slices of white bread
2 slices of Gruyère cheese

1 cup of béchamel sauce
4 tablespoons of grated Cheddar cheese
Sauce
1 cup of milk
1 tablespoon of butter
1 rounded teaspoon of wheat flour
2 tablespoons of grated Cheddar cheese
Salt and nutmeg to taste
Make the sauce: melt the butter in a pan over low heat
Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly
Add the milk and stir vigorously
Cook until thickened and add the cheese
Season with salt and nutmeg and reserve
Butter one side of each bread slice
Assemble 2 sandwiches with 1 piece of cheese and 2 slices of prosciutto each
Spread the white sauce over the top of each sandwich and sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese
Bake in a preheated medium oven until golden brown, then serve.
