1 cup of breadcrumbs
3/4 cup of milk
1/4 cup of dry white wine
1 tablespoon of butter
1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cooked and shredded chicken breast
To taste: salt, nutmeg, and black pepper
For frying: 4 cups of vegetable oil

1 Melt the butter in a pan, add the onion and cook for a few minutes
Add the flour and stir until golden brown
Add the milk and white wine, let it thicken, and season with salt and pepper
2 Combine the chicken and nutmeg
Let it cool
With a spoon, shape the croquettes
Dip them in egg and then coat in breadcrumbs
3 Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat
Fry the croquettes until golden brown
Drain on paper towels and serve.
