Peels from 6 ripe bananas

1 In a medium saucepan, combine the banana peels and cover with water
Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes or until the peels are soft
Drain and cut into small pieces
2 Blend in a blender until a smooth puree forms
Return the mixture to the saucepan and add the remaining ingredients
Simmer over medium heat with the saucepan slightly tilted, stirring occasionally until the mixture thickens at the bottom
Remove from heat, let cool, and serve.
