4 candied chuchus
10 allspice berries
4 cinnamon sticks

1 Rinse the chuchus well under cold running water
Peel them and grate coarsely
Place in a saucepan and add the allspice, cinnamon, coconut, and sweetened condensed milk
Let it simmer
2 Reduce heat and, constantly stirring with a wooden spoon, cook until it separates from the bottom of the saucepan
Remove from heat, discard the allspice and cinnamon, and pour into a buttered dish
3 Let it cool
Roll the candied chuchus with greased hands
Dust with crystallized sugar and serve in paper cups.
