3 tablespoons of unflavored red gelatin, softened in cold water
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of cold water
zest and juice of 1 orange
1/2 cup of hot water
zest and juice of 1 lemon

Soak the gelatin in cold water
Mix the sugar and hot water in a saucepan
Heat until it starts to simmer
Add the softened gelatin and let it cook slowly for 20 minutes
Add the zests and juices of orange and lemon
Allow it to rest for a bit, then pass the mixture through a sieve and pour into a small rectangular mold (about 2 cm high)
The mixture should be about 2 cm high, give or take
Chill in the refrigerator until firm
Cut into small squares
This is an easy and delicious jellied fruit treat.
