1 cup of sesame seeds

2 cups of sesame

Mix the sesame seeds, water, and honey in a saucepan
Stir over low heat until the sesame seeds dissolve
Increase the heat and let it come to a boil
Boil for about 7 minutes or until it reaches the consistency of a soft ball (when a little of the mixture dropped into cold water forms a soft ball)
Add the sesame and let it come to a boil again
Boil for another 7 minutes or until the sesame is golden brown and, when dropped into cold water, forms a hard ball
Do not let it overcook
Pour into a greased pan, approximately 18 x 25 cm in size
When almost cool, cut into squares or triangles
When completely cool, wrap in plastic wrap
Yield: 21 candies
