Combine the raisins and dates in a bowl and cover with cold water
Let it sit for an hour
Scoop off any excess liquid and transfer the mixture to a blender
Add the almonds, grated coconut, orange rind, and butter or margarine
Blend well
Pour the mixture into a refrigerator-proof container and add the milk gradually until the dough reaches the right consistency
Mold into balls, roll them in grated coconut, and place in paper cups.
