15g of active dry yeast
1 cup (ch) of milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup (ch) of all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
3 cups (ch) of all-purpose flour
Filling
400g of semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 tablespoons of heavy cream
Chocolate powder for dusting
Dissolve the yeast in warm milk
Add the eggs, sugar, butter, and, gradually, the flour
Work the dough until it becomes homogeneous and firm
Let it rest until the dough doubles in volume
On a floured surface, roll out the dough and, with a cutter, make circles of 8 centimeters in diameter
With a smaller cutter, remove the center to form the donuts
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space between each one
Let it rise again
Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes
Wait until they cool down and cut them in half
Filling
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and mix with heavy cream
Let it cool completely and whisk until smooth and shiny
Fill the donuts and dust with powdered chocolate
Serve warm or cold.
