1 cup of orange juice
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of thyme
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of marjoram
1/2 teaspoon of caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
1 pound of golden fish (tilapia)
1 orange, peeled and segmented into wedges
Salt to taste
Accompaniment
1 bunch of steamed broccoli florets
1 additional orange, peeled and segmented into wedges
1 cup of orange juice
3 tablespoons of soy sauce
1 tablespoon of cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon of thyme
1/2 teaspoon of oregano
1/2 teaspoon of marjoram
1/2 teaspoon of caraway seeds
1/2 teaspoon of curry powder
1 pound of golden fish (tilapia)
1 orange, peeled and segmented into wedges
Salt to taste
Accompaniment
1 bunch of steamed broccoli florets
1 additional orange, peeled and segmented into wedges
Before preparing, cut the fish into five portions
Place an orange wedge on each portion
Mix the orange juice with herbs, soy sauce, and salt in a bowl
Season the fish with the marinade, cover with aluminum foil, and refrigerate for at least one day
Preheat oven to medium temperature
Bake the fish for 1 hour or until cooked through
Remove from oven, let cool, and strain any remaining sauce into a small pan
Cover the fish again with aluminum foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden brown
While that's happening, add cornstarch to the cooled sauce and whisk over medium heat until thickened
Taste and adjust seasoning if needed
Add more salt if desired
Place the fish on a serving dish, drizzle with the sauce, and arrange orange segments and broccoli florets around it.
