For the vanilla cream
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 egg yolks, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the eggnog
1/2 cup bourbon or to taste
Ground nutmeg

Crack an egg into a cup with sugar
Add milk and fill with warm rum
Mix well and serve immediately.
