8 thin beef slices or contrafilé

1/4 cup of oil
1/2 cup of white wine
1 tablespoon of butter
salt and pepper to taste

Beat the beef slices
Place a slice of prosciutto and one of mozzarella cheese on each beef slice
Roll up and secure with toothpicks
Melt the butter or margarine in a skillet and add oil, stirring well
Cook the braids evenly from all sides, carefully turning them over
Remove from the skillet
Add white wine to the skillet and simmer, scraping everything off the bottom
Combine melted butter, salt, and pepper
Cook for 2 minutes
Serve with the sauce in a baking dish
