1/2 pound of tender beef or other beef cutlet
1 tablespoon of crispy bacon or pork fat chopped
1/2 teaspoon of mustard
2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon of pickles finely chopped
flour
2 tablespoons of oil
one bay leaf
2 cups of hot water
1/2 pound of tender beef or other beef cutlet

1 tablespoon of pickles finely chopped
flour
2 tablespoons of oil
one bay leaf
2 cups of hot water
Cut the beef into thin slices
Pound and season with salt and pepper
Mix together the bacon, mustard, onion, and pickles
Spread a little of the mixture over each slice
Roll up the slices and secure with twine or toothpicks
Dust with wheat flour
Fry in oil
Add the bay leaf
Add hot water
Simmer slowly until the beef is tender, adding more hot water as needed
Remove the twine when serving.
