1/4 cup of oil (60 ml)

1 pound of pork, cut into cubes
2 cups of black beans or kidney beans (400 g)
1 type of Portuguese sausage, sliced (200 g)
1 liter of water
1 tablespoon of salt or to taste

In a large pressure cooker, combine the oil, onion, and garlic
Bring to high heat and sauté until golden brown
Add the meat, beans, sausage, water, and salt
Cover the pressure cooker and cook until the vapor starts to release
Reduce heat and cook for an additional 45 minutes or until the beans and meat become tender
Check the water level halfway through cooking and add more if necessary
Turn off the heat, let all the pressure release naturally, and then remove the lid
Serve immediately
If desired, refrigerate in a sealed container for up to two days and reheat when serving
