1 can of green corn
1/2 pound of peas
1 tablespoon of butter
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 pinch of black pepper
1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Drain the liquid from the corn and peas (cooked or canned)
Place in a bowl and submerge in warm water
Add the butter and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and parsley
Cover with plastic wrap or aluminum foil and steam for 10 to 15 minutes
Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
