For the sauce
2 medium onions (200g) finely chopped
1 small red bell pepper (100g), finely chopped
5 medium tomatoes (500g) finely chopped
2 soup spoons of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of paprika powder
300g of ground beef (or tough pork)
4 soup spoons of grated Parmesan cheese (for sprinkling)

In a large pot, bring 3 liters of water to a boil with 1 soup spoon of salt at high heat
Add the pasta and cook without covering until al dente (10 minutes)
Prepare the sauce: in a medium pot, combine all ingredients and cook over high heat until it boils
Reduce the heat and cook until the meat is tender (about 30 minutes)
Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce
Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and serve
