6 smoked sausages or hams
1 large onion
1 green bell pepper
1 red bell pepper
salt and pepper to taste
6 smoked sausages or hams

salt and pepper to taste
These skewers can be made with ham, sausage, or a combination of both
Use as many of each as you like
Cut the smoked sausage or ham into 2cm pieces
Cut the onion in half and remove the layers
Cut these layers in half again
Cut the bell peppers into squares about the same size as the sausage pieces
Assemble the skewers by alternating a piece of pepper, an onion slice, and a piece of sausage or ham
Grill for 10 minutes, turning frequently
When serving, sprinkle with salt and pepper
Serve 6 skewers.
