500g spiral pasta (cavatappi)
Sauce
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon capers, drained and rinsed
4 large tomatoes, peeled and seeded
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can of tuna in water, drained and flaked
Salt and black pepper to taste

In a large pot, bring 5 liters of water to a boil, cover, and let it simmer
Add one and a half tablespoons of salt and let it simmer again
Cook the spiral pasta in batches, mixing well after each addition, until al dente
Sauce
Mash the tomatoes in a blender and reserve
Heat the olive oil with garlic over medium heat
Add the mashed tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes
Combine the capers, tuna, parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste
Mix well and let it warm up
Drain the pasta
Place it in a serving dish, cover with the sauce, and serve immediately.
