4 green tomatoes, medium (500g)
3 cups of water (720ml)
1/4 cup of olive oil (60ml)
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 small onion (70g), finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon of salt

In a large pot, bring 2.5 liters of water and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to a boil
Add the pasta and cook with the lid on until al dente (around 5 minutes)
Prepare the sauce: in a medium pot, cook the tomatoes in boiling water until soft (around 15 minutes)
Remove with a slotted spoon and chop
In a medium pot, heat the olive oil over high heat
Add the garlic and onion and fry until starting to brown
Add the tomato, season with salt and black pepper, mix well and let it simmer
Remove from heat
Drain the pasta, transfer it to a serving dish, add the sauce and mix
Serve immediately
