4 jalapeños, cut into thin slices

Cut the beef into cubes of approximately 6 centimeters, marinate in cold water and refrigerate for 24 hours, changing the water at least once
Drain the water and boil the beef in 2.5 liters of water for 20 minutes
Change the water and cook the beef until it's very tender
Drain and reserve the cooking liquid
Shred the beef, removing cartilages and excess fat (1). Reserve
Melt the butter, sauté the garlic, add the onion and cook until it's golden brown (2)
Add the beef (3), simmer for 5 minutes, and add a little of the cooking liquid to make it very flavorful
Fry the jalapeños in batches (4) in hot oil, until they're crispy
Sprinkle with salt and serve over shredded beef (5).
