1 medium onion (100 g), finely chopped

3/4 cup water (180 ml)

1 cup fresh button mushrooms, halved (190 g)

In a large skillet, over high heat, cook the onion in butter until softened (about 3 minutes)
Add the beef strips, stir and cook until browned (about 10 minutes)
Add the remaining ingredients, stir and let simmer for about 2 minutes
Transfer to a serving dish and serve immediately.
