1/2 kg of white beans
1/2 kg of smoked pork ribs, cut into pieces
1 kg of pickled cabbage, drained and chopped
2 cups of tomato puree

Let the beans soak overnight
Drain them well and rinse under cold water
Combine the beans with the pork ribs in a pot and simmer over medium heat until the beans are tender
Remove the pork ribs and discard the bones
Chop the meat into small pieces and set aside
In another pot, cook the pickled cabbage with tomato puree until it's soft, adding some water if needed
Add the cooked beans, chopped pork meat, salt to taste, and simmer for 10 more minutes
Stir in buttermilk, then remove from heat
Serve as a side dish with roasted or fried meats, or as a main course
Serves 4-6 people.
