In a bowl, whisk together the egg, olive oil, flour and yeast until smooth
Pat the figs dry with paper towels and dip each one into the batter, coating both sides evenly
Fry them in hot olive oil until golden brown
Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar
For the sauce, mix together the gelatin and white wine until well combined
To serve, place a spoonful of the sauce on a plate, top with sliced figs and a scoop of vanilla ice cream
Serve 6 portions.
