Dredge the filets in flour and reserve
In a large skillet, heat the oil and butter over high heat
Add the garlic and filets, cover, and cook until browned
Flip the filets and cook for another 2 minutes on each side
Remove from heat and transfer to a plate
Add the red wine to the skillet and let simmer for 1 minute
Add the filets, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until tender (about 10 minutes), flipping halfway through
Remove from heat, return the filets to the plate, and serve
