Bring 1.5 liters of water to a boil in a medium-sized pot
Add the fresh asparagus and cook for five minutes
Remove from heat and drain well

Melt the butter in a hot frying pan
Add the asparagus, pineapple, and sauté for five minutes or until tender
Season with salt and black pepper and reserve

Grill the mignon to your desired level of doneness (see tips below) and serve with the asparagus and pineapple
