4 cups of strawberries
4 pears
2 cups of sugar (granulated)
1 package of vanilla sugar
4 eggs
1 and 3/4 cups of milk

Pit the strawberries and pears, then slice them thinly
Place in a saucepan with half the sugar and vanilla sugar
Cook over low heat for 30 minutes or until a transparent compote is obtained
Meanwhile, whisk the eggs with hot milk and mix with the compote. Reserve
Melt the remaining sugar to form a caramel and pour into a mold
Spread it evenly across the bottom and sides of the mold and place the fruit cream inside
Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for approximately 1 hour
When the center of the flan appears firm, touch with your finger; it's cooked
Remove from the oven, let cool, and refrigerate for about 1 hour
Unmold when serving.
