1 1/2 kg chicken, or so
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups Hawaiian filling (see recipe below)
Golden syrup
Pineapple chunks and grape seeds
Filling:
1 1/2 cups crushed pineapple
1/3 cup shredded coconut
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/4 cup chopped pineapple
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
Golden Syrup:
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon chicken broth granules
1 tablespoon melted butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Wash and dry the chicken
Rub inside and out with salt and pepper
Stuff and brush with 3 tablespoons of melted butter
Bake in a greased baking dish
After about 45 minutes, brush the chicken with the golden syrup and serve when tender
Filling: Mix all ingredients together
Golden Syrup: Melt the vanilla extract, add the juices and stir until a glaze forms
Add the granules and cook until dissolved
Finally, add the butter.
