Peel and slice the orange into wedges, and place in a bowl
Add the garlic and thyme, and mix well
Set aside
Season the chicken with salt and black pepper, and place it in the bowl with the marinade
Douse with olive oil, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate overnight
Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake in a medium oven until golden brown
When the chicken is cooked through, remove it and keep warm
With a spoon, deglaze the pan and add white wine
Bring the mixture to a boil
Add chicken broth, stir, and serve with the chicken.
