4 chicken thighs and 4 drumsticks
4 cloves of garlic, minced
2 tablespoons of olive oil
100g of smoked bacon, cut into pieces
2 chopped onions
500g of peeled tomatoes, diced
1 kg of sweet potatoes, cubed
3 sprigs of rosemary
Salt and black pepper to taste

Season the chicken with garlic, salt, and black pepper
Set aside
In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat
Add the smoked bacon and cook until golden brown
Add the chicken to the pot and cook until browned on all sides
Add the chopped onions and continue cooking until they're golden brown
Add the peeled tomatoes, sweet potatoes, rosemary, and 1 cup of water
Cover the pot and bring to a boil
Then, reduce the heat and simmer until the sweet potatoes are tender
Turn off the heat and use a fork to mash the sweet potatoes to thicken the stew
Serve hot
