8 small, fried, and golden linguiças, sliced
3 slices of smoked bacon

Combine the ingredients, minus the linguiças and bacon
Mix well
Place half of the mixture into a loaf pan approximately 11 inches long
Arrange two rows of 4 linguiças on top of the meat
Cover with the remaining meat, pressing down firmly
Top with three slices of smoked bacon
Bake in a preheated oven
Remove any liquid that forms and unmold the loaf onto a sheet of aluminum foil
Let cool for 6-8 hours
To freeze: let cool completely, wrap in foil, and place in the freezer
To defrost: remove from the freezer and thaw at room temperature for 3 hours
Wrap in foil and reheat in a refrigerator.
