3 large potatoes
1 medium onion, grated coarse
1 tablespoon of salt
Black pepper to taste
4 slices of bacon cut into small pieces (100g)
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes (500g)
200g of melted cheese cut into cubes
1 cup of fresh, canned, or long-life cream
3 large potatoes

Preheat the oven to hot (400°F)
Season the chicken cubes with salt and black pepper
Line a 28cm x 22cm refractory dish with bacon
Spread the chicken over the bacon. Reserve
Wash the potatoes thoroughly
Peel and slice them thinly using a mandoline, then grate them coarsely
Season the potato slices with onion, salt, and black pepper
Arrange half of the seasoned potatoes on top of the chicken
Top with melted cheese and the remaining potatoes
Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour
Remove from the oven, remove the foil, and drizzle with cream
Give it a gentle stir and serve.
