Fill a large pot with enough water to cover the ingredients and bring it to a boil
Add the salt and remaining seasonings
Add the chicken and all but one of the vegetables, reserving the fennel for the end
Braise the chicken until it is tender
Serve 250 grams of cooked chicken per person.
