Two cups of corn flakes
450g ground beef from cow
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
3 tablespoons pitted and chopped green olives
1 egg
4 cups mashed temperate potatoes (approximately 6 medium-sized potatoes)
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
a pinch of paprika
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Crush the corn flakes
Mix the beef, seasonings, corn flakes, olives, and egg in a large bowl, stirring lightly
Place the mixture into an 18cm-diameter baking dish, lining the bottom and sides (do not leave the edges bare)
Bake in a hot oven for about 15 minutes, then remove any excess liquid from the beef
While this is happening, prepare the potato puree
Mound the potatoes inside the baking dish with the beef
Dust with Parmesan cheese and paprika
Grill at a distance of 10cm from the heat, about 2 minutes or until golden brown
Dust with fresh parsley
Cut into slices like a cake
