Place the chicken, cut into pieces, in a baking dish
Sprinkle with salt and add water
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes
Heat plenty of oil in a pan
Mix the dough ingredients well and beat them
Dip the chicken pieces into the dough and let any excess drip off
Fry 2 or 3 pieces of chicken at a time in hot oil until they are golden brown (for about 3 minutes)
Let them drain on paper towels
If desired, sprinkle the chicken with pepper before putting it in the oven
Serve 8 portions.
