Sift together 1 cup of all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, salt, and active dry yeast
Whisk together the beaten egg and whole milk, then gradually add the sifted flour mixture, stirring until a smooth batter forms
Add the melted butter and mix well
Cut the bananas into quarters, then coat with the remaining flour and dip in the batter
Fry in hot oil or fat for 6 minutes, or until golden brown.
