1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup of cold water
salt to taste
lemon juice
a few drops of pepper sauce
1 cup of mayonnaise
1 tablespoon of finely chopped onion
3/4 cup of crumbled bacon
1/4 cup of pitted and chopped green olives
4 hard-boiled eggs, diced
lettuce leaves
2 hard-boiled eggs, cut into slices (optional)
pepper strips (optional)

Soak the gelatin in cold water, place it in a warm water bath until it dissolves
Add salt, lemon juice, and pepper sauce
Let it cool and then add it to the mayonnaise, stirring well
Add all other ingredients except lettuce leaves and pour into a 3-cup mold
Refrigerate until firm
Unmold over lettuce leaves
If desired, garnish with slices of hard-boiled eggs and pepper strips
