In a saucepan, mix the jaboticaba juice with sugar
Bring to a boil and cook while stirring until it thickens slightly
To check if the gelée is ready, when it starts to thicken, remove the saucepan from the heat, place a spoonful of the gelée in the center of a plate and let it cool
Incline the plate, if it doesn't run, it's ready
If not, return the saucepan to the heat and test again after 2 minutes
Yield: 1 1/2 cups (24 tablespoons).
