4 oranges, cut into wheels

Place the cloves, cinnamon, and lime slices on a piece of cheesecloth
Tie the corners to form a bag
Heat the sugar, red wine, orange peel, and 1 cup of water over low heat
Stir in the bag
When boiling, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until syrupy
Remove the bag and orange peel
Add the oranges
Distribute into serving dishes
Let cool and refrigerate
Serve 4 portions.
