3 egg whites
1 cup of sugar
6 oranges, peeled and segmented
2 cups of fresh shredded coconut

Whip the egg whites until stiff and set aside
In a small saucepan, prepare a syrup with the sugar and 1/2 cup of water
Let it boil until it reaches the hard-ball stage
(Take some warm syrup and put it in a glass with water
When you can form the mixture into balls that hold their shape, it's ready)
Add the syrup to the whipped egg whites, little by little, with the mixer running until stiff peaks form
In a large bowl or individual bowls, layer the whipped cream, some orange segments, and shredded coconut on top
Serve chilled
