Mix the fruits with the brandy and 1/2 cup of simple syrup, along with the grated peels, Jamaica peppers, and cloves
Place in a glass or ceramic container
Close well and let it rest in a dark and cool place for 2 weeks, stirring every 3 days
Strain the fruits through a sieve to remove as much liquid as possible
Pour into another clean container lined with a double-layered cloth (muslin) that has been moistened
Filter until you achieve the desired transparency
Check the flavor and add more simple syrup if desired
Pour into a container, seal well, and let it age in a cool and dark place for 3 to 4 weeks
Pour through a funnel into a beautiful liqueur bottle
Serve with 3 cups.
