Dissolve the butter in a pan
Combine the orange juice, grated zest, garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Mix well
Wash the pork loin and dry it with paper towels
Rub the pork loin with the remaining salt and pepper
Place it in a baking dish, tie with kitchen string to keep its shape
Pour the orange glaze over the top
Baste the meat with the glaze several times
Bake at moderate temperature (170°C) for 2 hours
Increase the oven temperature to 200°C and bake until the pork is golden brown
Baste frequently with the glaze that forms in the baking dish
Serve the pork chops cut into thin slices, accompanied by the orange glaze and rice
