250g of fresh macaroni shells
One cup of mayonnaise or salad dressing
Three tablespoons of curry powder, or to taste
Two tablespoons of lemon juice
One cup of chopped green onions
One cup of chopped parsley
One cup of thinly sliced turnips
Three-quarters cup of peeled and diced cucumber
One half cup of chopped bell pepper
One half cup of chopped salted beef
250g of fresh macaroni shells

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions, drain, rinse with hot water, and drain again
In a large bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, curry powder, and lemon juice
Add the cooked macaroni while it's still warm and stir until well coated
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for 3-4 hours
A little before serving, add the chopped green onions, parsley, turnips, cucumber, bell pepper, and salted beef
Mix carefully
Arrange on a platter and top with roast beef (or cooked ham if preferred)
If you can't find ready-cut roast beef, use cooked ham sliced into thin strips

Instead of using store-bought curry powder, you can make your own blend by frying one tablespoon of coriander seeds in one tablespoon of olive oil, then adding two tablespoons of ground cinnamon, one tablespoon of ground cumin, and a pinch of ground ginger
