1 egg
1 pinch of salt
1/2 package of macaroni (elbow, penne, etc.)
4 cooked sausages cut into slices - 120 g
Or 1/2 cup of diced ham
1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup of grated cheddar cheese

Melt the butter or margarine
Add the all-purpose flour and mix well
Cook, stirring for 2 minutes
Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly until it starts to thicken and bubble
Add the milk and cook, stirring until it thickens and becomes creamy, about 5 minutes
Beat the egg
Add a little of the hot sauce and mix well
Pour into the baking dish with the remaining sauce
Season with salt
Cook the macaroni and drain
Mix the sauce with the sausage or ham and Parmesan cheese
Add to the macaroni
Place in a refractory dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for about 20 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly
Serves 4-6 portions.
