Season the maminha with minced garlic and salt
Grease a baking dish with olive oil, place the maminha and brush with English Worcestershire sauce
Bake in a hot oven (400°F) for 1 hour
During cooking, turn and scrape the bottom of the baking dish to get it nicely browned
After the meat is cooked, remove it from the baking dish
Add beef or chicken broth, scraping the pan well to remove any browned bits
Transfer the broth to a pot in small amounts, add flour and green pepper, and mix well
Bring to a boil over medium heat until thickened, then serve
Serve with sliced meat
