2 cups of wheat flour

1 tablespoon of salt
1/4 cup of cold water

Sift the flour with the salt into a bowl
Add the butter or margarine in small pieces, mixing with a fork until you get a granulated mixture
Gradually add the water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to the mixture
Use just enough water to moisten the flour
Mix lightly with a fork
Shape into a ball
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
